This theme of originated words began from one of my installations called Origin-Kuton. It evolved into an urge to continue this theme in painting within my body of work. This new series allowed me to reveal and proliferate many common words whose Arab origins are overlooked by society today.
Jar: جرة
Lime : ليمون
Soda : سواد
Jasmine : ياسمين
Syrup : شراب
Checkmate : مات الشاه
